Jacky Mister's Rep Basketball team won The Western Junior League

 Grand Final on Sunday 74 points to 63!

They went through the whole season undefeated......

A fantastic group of young men....

They are off to the NSW Country Tournament on the

 long weekend in June and the State Cup in Sydney in August...

Smiles all round.....

Jack is the youngest in the team and

 will be the only one left next year.....

The loyal supporters....

Very proud mummy's....

Needless to say there wasn't much stitching

 happening over the weekend.....

A Surprise Gift

I got the nicest surprise yesterday when this gorgeous sewing tin

 was delivered to me from my friend Suzie in Cobar......

And how nice when I opened the lid

 to find an identical smaller tin inside.....

I am feeling very spoilt indeed....

They are so cute and here is the good news....

They are from "The Cobar Quilt Shop"

and are $13.95 for the set....

So if you just have to have some give the girls a call and I am sure

they will be able to arrange a mail order for you.....

Old Wooden Chair

Another finished Block.....

"Old Wooden Chair"

This is definately one of my favourite blocks as 

I have quite a few old wooden chairs at my house.....

On our deck with the outdoor table.... 

On our deck near the BBQ..... 

Just inside the front door...... 

In the Rumpus room for my bears..... 

These ones in the dining room are not

old but made from old timbers..... 

I picked this one up for Miss Molly's room....

I am going to paint it off white and recover the seat...

One Day!!!!! Ha ha!

And this one is in my little sewing space.....

There's a bit of dust on it beacause I have

 been enjoying my hand stitching....

I will have to dust it off and get the mini quilts

 stitched for my "Sewing Block"

Stitching night tonight with the sewing girls...Yay!

My Sewing Block

I managed to get a bit of stitching finished on

 my "Sewing Block" over the weekend....

   

I have cut out the mini quilts but have not

 had a chance to sew them yet.....

I am liking how this block is turning out....

I will piece the mini quilts and then blanket stitch them on....

Bart and I had a day at the races at Randwick yesterday....

His horse was running but didn't do any good this time...

Oh well that's racing!!!!

Simply Gorgeous Mothers Day

I hope all the Mum Bloggers out there had

 a Wonderful Mothers Day on Sunday......

Shoes seemed to be the theme of the day......

I was spoilt with not 1 but 2 pairs of lovely new slippers....

 Here I am getting ready to go to The mountain Tea House

 for lunch with Jacky Mister and Miss Molly.....

 I am sure that I have shrunk a little since last Mothers Day...

Below is the picture that they drew in my Mothers Day card...

Just too cute and pretty accurate, I am the shorty in the middle....

Ha ha....Love it!

And here is my completed "Simply Gorgeous Shoes" block...

And my new boots that I "Simply had to have"...Lol....

I am working on my "Chair & Sewing Block" at the moment....

SKOW Yummies

Well I think the block says it all for this one....

I have also finished my "Ice Cream" Block...

When we vist Bathurst I have 2 favourite Annies to visit....

Firstly Anni at The Home Patch....

And then an icecream from

Annies Ice Creamery for the drive home.....

They are delicious, my favourite is Sofala Gold....

Also I have completed my "Daisy" block...
